Miss Cassie was raised in Round Hill, Virginia. She started her dance training at the age of four, and she is devoted to the art of dance. Cassie started teaching at age fourteen. She continues to learn and grow by taking classes with master teachers, attending seminars, and staying current in techniques in the dance world. Cassie recently became certified in Country Heat LIVE a new Beachbody fitness workout now offered at the studio.
Miss Cassie managed to dance, teach, and attend college at the Shenandoah University’s Conservatory Dance Division. Upon graduation in 2006, Cassie established Footloose Dance and Fitness Studio in Purcellville, Virginia. Since the dance studio opened Footloose has had 4 different locations. The studio's NEW location is: 6 West Loudoun Street Round Hill Virginia. Located on the 2nd floor of “The Old Furniture Factory” building.
Cassie’s students have gone on to dance and study at various Colleges and Universities and have been on dance teams at the High Schools and College level. Cassie is devoted to her students and believes in giving them every opportunity to grow as dancers and gymnasts.
Cassie has been involved in Musical Theater and has choreographed for J.L. Simpson Middle School in Leesburg (2011-2012) for the production of “Thoroughly Modern Millie JR.” Her choreography has been used for a variety of events including high school musicals, and talent show competitions. She has also worked with various dance teams and Cheerleading teams in the area. Cassie was Cheerleading Coach for Bridgewater College in the fall of 2014.
In addition to teaching and operating Footloose Dance and Fitness, Cassie is a full time
mother of two daughters and also instructs various Dance Classes & Mommy and Me
classes at Ida Lee Parks and Recreation.Cassie is extremely excited to be teaching in
the town where she grew up and currently resides.
